Ever since I started Total Female Hockey two years ago, people have been asking if I’d run one of my BIG events out west. Well - the wait is finally over. And we’re starting off with a *bang*. For 3 days in June, me and my good friend Brooke Whitney, who is from the Seattle area, will be coming out to Vancouver-area to run the
Total Female Hockey ELITE EXPERIENCE CAMP
.
Here’s what it’s all about:
From June 25-27th in Richmond, BC, girls’ hockey players, between the ages of 13-18, who want to play at the college/university/national team level, will experience the most complete female hockey camp in the world.
You will participate in:
:: On-ice and off-ice sessions with elite female coaches from across North America who have coached at and played at the highest levels of women’s hockey for decades.
:: The most cutting-edge on-ice and off-ice performance testing available, used by players at the provincial, national and NHL level, to see how you compare in terms of skill, speed, and strength. You’ll get a personal performance ranking after the event that will show you exactly what you need to work on to get to the next level.
:: Games against other elite players in the camp to see how you stack up to other players who have the same BIG goals as you do. You will be broken up into teams based on age and ability - so you will be skating with and against players who are at a similar level to you.
:: In-depth player development workshops where you’ll learn exactly what you need to do to stand out and get noticed. You’ll attend workshops about how to get a college hockey scholarship, how to eat for performance and how to take both your mental and physical game to the next level.
We ran the ELITE EXPERIENCE camp out in Toronto last summer, and people from all over the West, including BC, Alberta, Washington, California and Alaska, were interested, but it was a little too far to travel for a 3-day event.
So we’re bringing the EXPERIENCE to you.
Not only will you get to compete against other players who want to get to the next level as badly as you do, but you’ll actually get to see how you stack up to them on and off the ice, and get a personalized feedback on exactly what you need to do to separate yourself from the competition.
NOTE: This camp is for committed and elite-level players only! You will be on the ice 4-5 times over the course of the weekend, will participate in 3-4 off-ice training sessions (including off-ice testing) and will also attend 3 elite performance workshops.
You will experience a unique combination of competition, education and personal evaluation that you won’t find anywhere else. And you will leave knowing exactly what you need to do on and off the ice to get to the next level.
